Interesting. That is new to me. I've done researches for C. arizonica to be planted at in laws house and variegated CA never came up. Pretty cool if that's CA (it looks like CA to me). Ask people there about it if you can. I'd be interested in getting one if that's CA so I can plant one at my house!

Here is a picture of the bark. Maybe it can help the identification. No cones present.
I will ask the people living there if they know anything about its origin... They will probably thinks I'm a wierdo, but I'm very curious about this tree.
Is C. glabra considered then a distinct species?

googled on resins suggestion ... adding 'variegated'

which lead me to conifertreasury name of Cupressus glabra 'Picasso'

then googled that.. and came up with the link below ...
