Here are a few brooms that I retrieved yesterday.
Pinus resinosa 'Dodge Ball'
Named in honor of Dennis Dodge. The broom is smaller than a beach ball. The needles are lime green and not nearly as stiff as your a typical resinosa. Broom cones.

Picea glauca 'Dodge'em' Found in Hudson NH at a cemetery. Approx 60' up a dying tree I climbed. Rounded in shape. Nice blue/green foliage. Rounded habit. Super tight. Broom acted as a nesting for both birds and squirrels.
Named in honor of Dennis Dodge.

The next picture is Tsuga candensis 'Low Rider' I found this one last year in Milford NH. I only take a little bit at a time. Very, very prostrate. Small needles. The way the broom is positioned, I cannot get a picture of it in the tree.
