Hy,
do you have any experience about the growthrate of this cultivar?
Some sources say it's a dwarf, some say a it's a tall, conical tree.

| Hi Benjamin, The discrepancies from tall/large to small/tight pyramidal abound in Google. One thing mentioned: It's been quite a popular tree in Europe and is often used for hedges or as small specimen plantings. With that being said information should not be hard to find or even seen growing in your neck of the woods. Coniferjoy, Stephen, Clement help this man out. Dave |

| Hi Benjamin and Dave, I think I overlooked this topic till now. I'm very familair with this white tipped cultivar, I have it at my nursery for at least 15 years. Certainly it's not a dwarf, it will grow about 25 till 30 cm. per year and will grow into a tall, conical tree. It's quite common in Europe as a solitair plant but I never saw it used as a hedge conifer. It will make reversions once and a while which must be cut away immediatly otherwise it will grow out and will destroy this nice cultivar! |
