Anyone need a lawnmower?

Continuing the second half of my Winter projects, the grass that I paid a grand and spent mowing for five years is finally all gone. Yes, Ken you were right. The end result for me was more room for plants, less watering, especially in a few years when I won't water except for the driest drought period and no more noisy, polluting, cumbersome lawn mowing. The shrunken paths allowed for a few dozen more cultivars and stone paths lead to new conifer beds and a new raised garden bed for vegetables.

While my conifer collection has always taken priority over asthetics, I have enjoyed making my collection something people can wander into and see a huge collection without walking miles and miles. For each average nine square feet of my gardens(3'x3'), there is a conifer. Someday the collection will be a fifth size of what it is now, but for the next few years, it will be a lot of fun watching hundreds of unique plants vie for attention. Thanks for taking a look.

A few before/afters and then a few closer shots.
