Gorgeous concolor!

I wish they didn't always end up looking like crap here after a few years. I might try to find some grafted on A. firma to see if they do better.

Ken, I keep coming back to look at your photos,I say more concolors! Wishful thinking with the snow!LOL!
Is that a cultivar or a really nice species tree? Great photos by the way!

i have other blues.. like blue cloak and some other one.. but they havent coned yet....

you can tell from the pic.. well.. i can.. lol... its one of my first.. and it close to the house... considering 5 acres ... 13 years later.... it blocks my view of a lot of stuff on the acre behind it.. that is why i suggested.. that it might go.. when i cant get at teh cones .. for my annual cone-heroin fix ...

who knew.. theses things grow like the trees they are.. lol

i went out scion hunting for some grafting friends today ..... wading right past this beast.. with snow from mid shin to mid thigh .... i thought my heart was going to explode.... i really need to start walking the streets .... and get my wind back ...

Ken, I was gonna guess 'Candicans' but have not had the hands so it would of been a hail mary at best. If taken out would you replace it?
