Hey Ken...P. cembra is a white pine w/bundles of 5 needles. This pine has bundles of 2 needles.

i dont know which pic your eyes can focus on.. but my trifocals dont see that on any of your pix.. lol ..

besides.. i said WAG!!!!

That appears to be a Bosnian Pine (Pinus leucodermis). It is very much like Pinus nigra. It is slower growing and more disease resistant than Austrian pine.

"Bark gray, leaving yellow to whitish patches after exfoliating in irregular scales. Young shoots gray-white, thick and glabrous (hairless), appearing like a snakeskin after the needles fall (Krussmann, 1985) (Sometimes called the "snakeskin pine".) Needles 2 per bundle, very densely arranged, forward pointing, 7-9 cm long, stiff, dark green."

Not sure if other pines share this detail but it most definitely has the scale like bark pattern of Pinus heldreichii.

Edit: There you go I didn't know that this pine was called snakeskin pine. I must have posted or started my post as you posted.
