Didn't take too many shots, but got a few I hadn't photographed before.

Abies concolor 'Compacta':

Abies koreana 'Silver Star'

Abies koreana 'Aurea'

Abies concolor 'Hosta la Vista'

Juniperus horizontalis 'Mother Lode':

Picea pungens 'The Blues'

Sciadopitys verticillata 'Joe Kozy' (you know you want to try one, Ken)

Picea abies 'Cranstonii':

Picea pungens 'Regal Chub'

Picea orientalis 'Skylands'

Abies concolor with 'Hosta la Vista' broom. I believe I overheard talk about this tree being removed and I noticed a lot of grafts of it in the hoop house.

Great tour and photos, although I agree with Joy. Why remove that tree? They could do other things to enhance that area.

Thanks for the pix.

The tree was looking bad last summer when these pix were taken and it looks like it has declined even since then. The view above is the "good" side. Here's the view from the back side.

I say cut everything off except the broom. It would probably be the world's largest dwarf conifer on a standard...
Also, it's the only healthy and attractive-looking portion of the tree remaining.

TJ is correct. I heard mention that the tree is going downhill fast, which is probably the main reason. I noticed tons of cut off limbs.
