Mine is nicely yellow tipped - it reads 'yellow' from a distance. Mine is quite small, for what it's worth.

i was sure .. when i first started ... that a number of my plants would die of such .... until i learned ...

mostly my tiny babes.. had to bulk up enough.. to really understand the coloration .... creating dark interior shadows.. upon which the yellow could look better ...

Mine is yellow-tipped too, but it's only 18" and it's been in the ground for two years! I seem to remember reading here on the forum that this plant is fully heat and sun-proof.(No scorch) T.
