Looks like you are the only one growing it on the ground.

I find it hard to believe that no one else is growing it in the vertical.

thx dave..

its kind of hard to believe that no one has the plant..

nor ever seen the plant..

nor snapped a pic of the plant ...

in fact.. apparently when joys plant died.. the pix on his hard drive .... and his website simply evaporated from reality ...

google seems pretty useless .. as all the pix simply look like A. concolor ... i dont see any weeping effect ..

is this plant so rare???

Abies lowiana Pendula
Abies lowiana Pendula
Repoted some conifers, I'm remember these plant, received for Abies concolor "Pendula"
However it's more Abies lowiana than Abies concolor.
Abies lowiana "Pendula" is more apropriate

Clement, I do have the same plant under the name Abies grandis 'Pendula'.
I always had in mind that this name isn't right, Abies concolor var. lowiana 'Pendula' makes much more sense...

RE: Abies concolor Pendula

here is mine.. i have confirmed that it is NOT cole's weeping w/in concolor .. as there is no such animal ..

mine looks more like that typical concolor.. with its chubby upturned standard concolor needles.. as compared to clements ... but what do i know ...

and yes.. i will stake it ...

thx clement
