Amazing! That is truly a plant to die for! The brightness is almost unbeliveable! How can the needles be that bright yellow all the time and not drop off. Is it a slow grower because of lack of clorofyll?

Coniferjoy - it is named after Hunlock Township in northeastern Pennsylvania. It is a chance seedling that he observed (a collector friend of mine) found growing along a road while mowing the shoulder of road. It was about 6" tall and light green in color due to the fact it was in total shade.

Jarpe - It is very slow growing in the container. I noticed about 1" of growth last year. It maybe different once in the ground.

Ogcon - no cones yet. I am putting it in the ground this year. I am a little nervous about it but I am going to do it.(fingers crossed)
