Read that the Thuja just grows 1/4 inch a year...how old does that make your little specimen?

where did you find 'Cave Hill,' Sam? That's one I should probably put on my radar screen. Please post another pic when it's fully leafed out. Right now it looks pretty clumpy and irregular. If it's like that year-round then it's a real winner.

'Haley Bop.' Superlatives don't exist for this plant. Glad to see you got one. It deserves a place of honor in every great conifer collection.

see them there.My copy came from Nathan Miller.I think
his small operation is called Second Chance Nursery.I bump into him from time to time at Hardy Plant Soc.sales

Dave & Doug, I got 'Cave Hill' from a local nursery that specializes in irises and hostas believe it or not(!): Sebright Farms. They only had a handful of conifers, but this one was one of the few that was on my wishlist.

Will post a picture in mid-May!

Yup,know them well...couple of great plantsmen!Nathan is their supplier.D.PS While not a major Hosta guy myself
