| Hello,
I would be grateful for assistance in identifying this species of fir. I thought it was a Balsam, but the needles are sharply pointed. The bark of the saplings does not seem to have sap pockets. There are a few cones upright off some of the branches of some of the trees. There are a 4 big trees (50'+) and lots of medium trees and saplings...they are really growing everywhere. Very few of them have a tight conical form...most are more open. http://s1262.photobucket.com/albums/ii620/jpsprings/ Thanks! |
