Dax, I was thinking the same thing with the concolors! After this I got into where it seemed the tree of choice back in the day was concolor,way more than planted here. As far as what spruce this is I would say glauca? I could not get very close and they were not home,we are far enough west you might get shot!LOL! Also found my first Picea pungens broom,not the tightest in the world but a broom. If I'm hunting I'm happy! thanks!

It looks to me that tree is climbable, it does have plenty of good branches to step on :0)

I also think that this one is a Picea glauca, which will make you King Finder of Picea glauca brooms.
This is because you find a lot of them in a short time.
I lost count, how many did you find now all together?
