This is the first soruce I've seen call out a distict difference between what some have called the same plant.
A fine Japanese white pine boasting intense, yellow and cream highlighted needles that rival the brightest of the group for spring and summer color. Plants are slower growing than the similar selection �Goldilocks� and will develop a sculpted, spreading form in time. Average growth appears to be around 2-3" each year with plants obtaining an 18" x 24" framework over a 15 year period.
