New an improved version...so they say.

I do like the silvery blue foliage.

That is a beautiful color on that conifer. Let me ask something. Not sure if this is an illusion or if it's me seeing something not there, but...
Right in front middle - left of center in the photo where the green is showing more than elsewhere, are those green needles longer than the other needles? It's probably just the way it's showing in the photo but am curious.
Sure is a beauty.

"improved what"???

I don't know, ask Monrovia. It's so important it has a plant Patent No. 11473. Canadian PBR Pending.

I do have a SB for comparison. This one is different then all the other mottly glauca's.

Besides being improved I liked the color, needed a filler plant and it was dirt cheap. They had 3 left...want one? Cost more to ship it to you then it cost. You would probably kill it anyway. LOL.

It is safe to say everything is 2 weeks ahead of last year at this time. Your about in the same time frame I would think.

Nice plant, Dave.

Did they give a growth rate, or expected size @ 10 yrs?

Sort of hard to tell from the photo, but it looks roughly like it has the shape of a Conica "dwarf Alberta spruce" - is that right?

The improvement has to do with the the cultivar not reverting.

Nice plant Dave! Better start saving for that other one.
