Actually I think Resin helped you already, he confirmed the leave shape for your specimen, only it's colour isn't right which could be the cause of less ferilizer.

Ok, no problem. Thanks for the response.. it wasn't clear if the color variance was an indication that it could be a different species or just a lack of nutrients or resources..

I really just wanted to ensure I had it labeled correctly, and also make sure it was of Asian origin, so it won't be hit with HWA. I have not used any fertilizer, the pot contains a mix of organic lobster compost and regular site soil (50/50). It is in bright shade, with some direct sun during winter months and little to no direct sun during the summer. I actually really like the color, as it is unusual to have such a bright conifer is a shade garden... I guess I will just watch and see how it develops over the years.
