Interesting that ginkgo is coming out. I understand you're warmer than me, but mine is many weeks away from that.

That Ginkgo (Troll) was very very early. I just got it last year, and it was HEAVILY fertilized, and that may have helped push it out of dormancy. However, our Princeton Sentry was leafing out (much earlier than all our other Ginkgo except for 'Troll"), but it got frozen last night. It has been early every year, and gotten frozen every year but one since we have had it. Alas this mornings 18F may have gotten it for good though.

Thanks for the positive feedback everyone. As noted above, there was a severe freeze at my home this morning. No doubt considerably damaged or perhaps killed many of our plants. However those you see in the pictures above are just fine. All are in containers that were moved to safety.

Unfortunately many conifers, unlike angiosperms, have a lot more trouble regenerating foliage after a spring frost kills new growth.
