Hobbiton conifers of the week, May 20th

Busy weeding today but the sun came out and I shot some photos. The early warm stretch has pushed things along quickly and the weeds are going berserk this year. It's a huge task to keep them from propagating!

Some conifers to share while I rub my knees and sore feet.

Pseudotsuga menziesii 'Dusek's WB'

Picea pungens 'Gebelle's Golden Spring'

Abies koreana 'Aurea' - Going nuts with cones now. In part-shade, still turns gold by July.
{{gwi:698531}}

Mass conage.

Pseudotsuga menziesii 'El Dorado' A Conifer Kingdom introduction, one helluva bright doug-fir. May burn with ALL day sun, a little bit of shade is probably better.

Pinus ponderosa 'Pondy' - Tucked against the house, it has happily drier Winters here with help from my eaves.

A maple a week keeps the doctor away.

Acer shirasawanum 'Bashful' - A little guy with orangish/peachy new growth. Acquired from Conifer Kingdom.

Hope the ACS visitors sit(or lie down) in my hammock. It's colorful!
