i have dozens of 'names' on my wanted list ...

is it the 'name' that is important ... or some other aspect??? .. such as growth rate.. etc ...

if other than name.. then we can probably recommend alternatives ...

the other option.. is to start making calls ... often.. sellers need a minimum number.. to list them for sale ...

but that doenst mean.. they may not have a few sitting around ...

and note.. i said call ... many of the dealers... are not as tech savvy as the rest of us ... and rely on the good old telephone ... as compared to religiously reading emails ....

Greer site lists it for sale, though I.ve never been impressed with thier stock....

I had ordered them from Greers...got the order and...no Scotties. No phone call saying they were out etc. So, yes, Ive been calling various nurseries- mainly in Oregon to see if they have them.
Ive tried some of the big names out west too- Iseli- Bucholz etc...no luck so far.

Think twice, three, five times on that nursery. Got one of the most horrible plants I have ever seen from them, and another that was not even the right species. So if its not common, and a first year graft (meaning it has not been in their hands long), then I would not go near them.

Ken- Im sorry. I tried to post a link to Kigi nursery describing the plant I need. I don't think its a name collecting thing.- If im following your question. Its a very dwarf blue spruce. Picea Pungens 'Scottie'. Like Picea Pungens 'Fat Albert' etc.

How about Abies lasiocarpa 'Glauca Compacta'. Available at Conifer Kingdom... similar dimensions, shape and color to 'Scottie'
