Yeah, I've got to quit buying unlabeled plants but some, like this Ginkgo, turn out to be favorite treasures.
With the help of Sara's photos in the Winter 2013 'Conifer Quarterly' plus comparing growth patterns from photos in books and on the Internet it's tentative ID is:
Ginkgo biloba 'Jehoshaphat'
