no tree magically stops growing at a given height

most size estimates are at 10 years ... and are twice as large in 20 years ...

its all about the annual growth rate.. how fast it gets to height.. and beyond ...

i do not have time to research the growth rates of those you note ....

and i do note.. many yellows do not color properly in to much shade ....

all that said.. i would rather you buy a plant that tickles your fancy for ten years.. and then you get rid of it.. rather than buy some plain old things that fits there ... eh???

Chamaecyparis pisifera 'Baby Blue Ice' does fine on the north side of my garage, but it will be 6' X 5' in 15 to 20 years.

thanks for the tip on looking for a slow growth rate. That is very helpful. I'll look at that for the ones I picked so far to see if I can find something suitable. Is there a site that I can look at that's accurate for this? I tend to find varying info and want to make sure I get info that's credible.
