Jon, you're very lucky that the nursery owner gave you that Pinus strobus 'Angel Falls'
With a good fertilizer you'll bring it back to it's original colour.

Also the 'Sea Green' are off colour, you've to ferlize them as well.

The name for the small yellow one is Chamaecyparis obtusa 'Melody'.

Also the small creeping Juniperus are off colour, but I think they're Juniperus virginiana 'Grey Owl'.
I would like to see another pic at the end of this groeing season to make sure what they are...

Also the others are nice specimens!

I looked at the label on the Obtusa - it's labeled 'Sunlight Lace.' Is this a synonym for 'Melody' or a new introduction from Iseli?

Ok, when the etiket says 'Sunlight Lace', it should be that way.
As a young plant they look quite simular to me..
I'm not familiar with the one you bought, it's not availlable in Europe yet...
It looks like this one is faster growing then the 'Melody'.

given 30 years.. they will be huge ...

the others.. planting them.. in mother earth.. and sorta bare rooting them.. MIGHT BE ENOUGH to bring back color .. by fall ... if you have decent soil ... i would be very careful about a hard transplant ... and in addition.. a heavy fert dose ...

with your sellers problems with color ... i will guess.. the plants might be severely pot bound ... tip one out and find out.. and ask how the folks here would deal with it ... and shove it back in the pot awaiting our guidance ....

extreme root pruning.. this late in the spring.. might not be the best timing ... here in MI.. where it was near 90 for 3 days last week .... [when i should NOT have been!!!]

it might .. and i am asking.. be best to go easy ... on such.. and come back in fall at leaf color time.. re-dig .. and go to town on the root massacre .... if that makes any sense ...
