Tree newbie with Weeping Larch questions

We have here an impulse purchase, a 7 ft tall (or so) potted tree with a tag that says Weeping Larch. I've tried to gather info online about this tree, and some of it is very conflicting, particularly about how big it will get. One source said it would reach 8' to 12' tall, another said 100'. I also see some references to a Dwarf Weeping Larch. I'm wondering, do these trees come in a "regular", and a dwarf size?, or are they one in the same? Our current plan is to put it up near the foundation of our house. It's been trained into a serpentine shape, and we have a big open sunny spot against the backside where we thought we might make a new bed featuring this tree. Can anyone tell me if that's safe for the foundation, and if it will stay small enough to not outgrow that type of space, both visually and physically? It's such a wonderful looking tree...and a complete mystery to us. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
