White Cedar planting beginner mistake!

Hey everyone,
Last week we planted 16 small potted Thuja Occidentalis trees. It seems like we were very excited to get them into the ground, and didn't free the roots on most of them.

We planted these about 4 days ago. I was wondering if it makes sense to dig them up to ensure that the roots are freed up properly. Most of these trees were very potbound with the roots forming a very tight mess inside the pots.
