Picea engelmannii subsp. mexicana

This pic is from Google Earth and depicts what I am assuming is a young stand of Picea engelmannii subsp.mexicana located on the Northwest flank of Cerro Mohinora, Chihuahua, Mexico. Google Coordinates 25 deg. 57' 40.4" N, 107 deg. 02' 56.81" W
Livestock grazing appears to have damaged/distorted the natural form of many of the young trees and new reproductions appears totally absent as a result. I would guess that 'grazing rights' would preempt preservation of any very rare conifer.
