| My top soil came last night so I can finish grading and get my plants in the ground! Yay!
Ready and waiting:
Here you can see where I pushed the bedline way out after realizing the first was, obviously, much too small. ;o) The conifer is a straight species P. strobus. It will allow possibilities for full shade, morning sun, afternoon sun and full sun.

| Got hot so the backfilling went slowly, then it rained, then I left town for a few days. Spending a few days in beautiful Door County, Wisconsin. Planting delayed, but should be done by the end of this weekend! Thanks all for the compliments...hoping it turns out well! I can design the heck out of a defined space that gets "finished" right away but am still having trouble planning for the future and long-term gardening. I guess I should just come to terms with having to re-arrange things down the line. |
