Four years of Picea omorika 'Buttermilk Falls'

One of the many discoveries made by Bob Fincham, this was discovered as a branch mutation from Picea omorika 'Pendula Major' in 2001. Bob has been observing the plant for years now and may begin offering it soon.

My little plant, purchased in 2010, has grown well in part-shade, lighting up enough and showing no signs(so far) or burn or reversion. I've staked it for now and think eventually it will be on it's own. It appears to grow fairly quickly, perhaps 6-10 inches(15-25 cm) a year.
