Tag says "Ogon". Deer ate the rest of the marker. Possibly Pinus 'Ogon Janome'.

in my MI ... all nigra have slowly been thinning themselves from my yard ... just watch it slowly decline ...

i think i had two nigra die this winter ... along with some severe damage on the green arrow types ... i am still not sure if i lost my 15 year old GA ...

p thuns didnt do much better ... is it yours.. or shared ...

again... nothing to do with your plants... beyond observe ... or get POd and shovel prune them ...

Long time. Thanks for the heads up. Maybe I'll just remove the Nigra and move something else into its place. I have two little guys that didn't do well. Tags long gone but it will trim up nicely.

the one called ogon is P thun ogon... at 18 feet mine took quite a hit.. but not as bad as yours...

its one of them i referred to above ... thuns took a hit

Yes, the markers are long gone. The deer took a liking to my white markers and ate or destroyed most of them. One of three markers still exists: Pinus thunbergii 'Mini Mounds' (attached).
