| Mirek, beautiful pics of good grafting results. I put my quiestion marks why you cut off the sap sucker already of the 'Elko Run' while the grafs don't show new growth, but only buts. Imo you did this way to soon, by doing this it can still dry out because it doesn't have the capacity to take care of it's own sap... Good luck! Btw, I miss a pic of the Pinus sylvestris 'Baily's Upright'. |

| regarding 'Elko Run.' I collected all of the scions that are in various collectors' hands this summer. Of the 10 I grafted, none have pushed growth yet although 2 are still (marginally) alive. I've heard back from a couple of you and am interested to hear if anyone has had any luck. I'm not sure if I'm interested in making another run to Elko this winter, so I hope somebody out there has had some success. ~Dave |
