Awesome shots, Alex. I love the cones on 'Loma Linda' and the grasses really compliment the conifers well.

Has the 'Gait' coned for you yet? Is that what the bare sticks are that I see on the plant? If so, did you try growing the seed?

Two years ago, my 'Gait' did cone, but I did not try to grow them out. Indeed, the bare sticks visible in the picture are the axes of the now-disintegrated cones. I geuss I'll have plenty of opportunies to harvest seed in the future,'Gait' is a prolific coner. Nothing this year though...

That's a nice Cecilia. It's tight. I see stuff at firefighters place and the growth doesn't match what I have here. My Picea Cecilia and Picea Peve Tijn grow very dense.

What's that last aristata? Is it an upright weeper?

My 'Cecilia' is sited in full sun. It burned a bit in summer the first few years, but seems to be past that stage now.

Dax, the last picture is Pinus parviflora 'Gimborn's Ideal'. It is unusual that the new growth is hanging down like that. It's never done that before as far as I can remember, but I presume that when the new growth hardens off it'll become upright.
