Is it supposed be yellow/gold? I thought it was a green dwarf one, but if gold I'm getting one!

tsugajunkie, I planted it this spring so it probably needed to get roots out and get established a bit. Definitely growing faster compared to the other one in the container.

salicaceae, I think that's just for new growth. It will eventually turn to normal green color.

Here's what a larger one with normal green color looks like at SFASU. (I think the bottom branches were pruned to root cuttings so that's probably why it looks thin)
