Nice photos Dan, the BCS photo of 'Stanwood' was taken at Hidden Lake Gardens, and if I remember correctly it was just taged as 'Stanwood'. Some collectors retain the 'WB' part to the name others like to drop it, a personal thing I guess.

I think WB in the name doesn't conform to code, this was discussed recently elsewhere here.

bboy, since that particular discussion I took the trouble to contact Lawrence Springate who is the appointed International Conifer Registrar (ICRA) to clarify the code (International Code of Nomenclature for Cultivated Plants, ICNCP). He says quote, "There is nothing in the current ICNCP to prohibit the use of Broom, Witches' Broom, WB, Hexenbesen, or HB, in a cultivar epithet" as long as it is not against the plant originators wishes.
