Whaas...I think that is a great selection for future additions.

Not sure about the species sitkenensis 'Papoose'.
I know sitchensis is legit but the other???. I see both when you Google it. ACS doesn't list it. Could also not be zone tolerant depending on who's listing it especially under sitchensis.

Other then that all species names to be spelled in lower case.

Show us some photos when they arrive.

My to have list for fall/spring 2011/2012.

Dave

Chamaecyparis nootketensis 'Sparkling Arrow'
Chamaecyparis pisifera 'Harvard Gold'
Picea omorika 'Blue Sky'
Pinus mugo 'Mini Mini'
Pinus mugo 'Mr. Wood'
Pinus mugo 'Wood's Pillar'
Chamaecyparis nootkatensis 'Boyko's Sundown'
Chamaecyparis obtusa 'Butterball'
Chamaecyparis obtusa 'Chirimen' (3)
Chamaecyparis pisifera 'Tsukumo'
Picea abies 'Farnsburg'
Picea abies 'Suncrest'
Picea abies 'Tufty'
Picea abies 'Vermont Gold'
Picea glauca 'Burning Well'
Picea orientalis 'Aebel Skylands Seedling'

RE: Conifers for fall?

Dave, you're right about the Picea sitkenensis 'Papoose', this is a Picea sitchensis indeed.

From your list I saw the following errors:
Chamaecyparis nootketensis 'Sparkling Arrow'
Must be written as
Xanthocyparis nootkatensis 'Sparkling Arrow'.
By some it's a Cupressus nootkatensis now...
The same is for the 'Boyko's Sundown'.

Thuja orientalis 'Raffles'
Must be written as
Platycladus orientalis 'Raffles'

Good luck with finding these beauties :0)
