I searched for 1/2 hour. I couldn't find anything for ya either in books or on the net.

The closest is 'Sulphurea' which is yellow. That's the slowest I could find and it's said to be a yellow 'version' of Blue Ice.

The R.H.S.encyclopedia listed several that may be worth a
search.One is 'Chaparell' which I made a note on several years ago but have only seen once....maybe at Larry Stanleys.Another mention is 'Compacta'.Never seen this one.
I did saw out a dying 'Sulphurea' several years back that
had reached 16-18' and 10' wide....not so small I'd say,but
a gorgeous plant.I had it in too much moisture I think.Doug

'Sulphurea' is gorgeous, fyi. Not really yellow. Hard to describe. It has white overtones. I got one at the Western Region ACS auction last fall.

Mark, A friend gave us one 'Blue Ice' in 2005. Our spread sheet shows it was in 7gal pot. I remember it being about 3 Ft tall then. It struggles in our zone 5. We are in central Indiana. I'm guessing it may have come from Larry. Only because he had Stanleys graft some special things for him. It's probably around 6 ft tall now and maybe 30 inches around. I may also think that Dave S in KC may have one. Jay

I asked because Cuppressus arizonica grows so well here and I love the bright blue color. I have a couple now and they grow pretty aggressively. I've got a small spot that would be perfect for a smaller version if there was such a thing. I thought I'd put out some feelers in case there was a broom or such that someone had developed that wasn't common yet.

Oh well, I'll try something else.
