Four years of Abies fraseri 'Raul's Dwarf'

This small plant that eventually forms a squat cone shaped shrub, has several other synonyms also labeled as 'Rawles WB'(as I have tagged it), 'Rawles' and 'Rawls', etc.

It's a very beautiful, symmetrical growing plant that puts on less than an inch of growth a year(so far at least). Acquired from Don Howse, of Porterhowse farms in 2010, it's yearly growth is even and beautiful.

2010 - Bought as a BP, $20, a very fair price for a healthy, rare cultivar.

This is the kind of plant that I chase when I chase conifers - something that looks lush, full, healthy and is so very easy to grow, at least in our mild Pacific Northwest climate. It's one I can recommend to anyone who has a small spot but wants a plant with a lot of character.
