jarpe

This original rarity is located at Masku, Finland, near city of Turku. According to description tree is 22 meters high and 35 cm thick at hight of 1,3 meters. It is protected as valuable nature monument in the year 1953. It was once, 20 years ago propagated by dozens by company Enzo Guzeit and grafted offspring was planted in rows on a field at the central of Imatra, Eastern Finland along with several other speciality forms of same species.( Place i`m planning to visit next winter :). Original purpose was, i think, to preserve genome of these trees for commercial use or study, but i have learned that area has long been without maintainence and widely reguested to be felled down to get room for infrastructure.
