Dear all,

From thought to paper to final product.

Thanks to Dave: Davesconifers for creating the motto. I liked it from the beginning.

The fine folks at the link below made this from a real solid chunk of Hickory for 66 dollars with shipping. I give them a hats off, they're fine people. Also, a real pleasure doing business with them.

Best regards,

Dax

Beautiful Dax!! You know that in 30 years you 'll be sitting in the shade of a 100 ft Metasequoia, next to 60 ft Picea omorikas along with many people that visit just to see what you've created..

    Best regards,
    Fotis

Awesome man! Makes me want to take a tour of your place. Are those some of your babies in the background on the right?

Many thanks fotis, you've said it right!

Yes, John, they are. You don't see anything really from this photo perspective, however... it is the entrance way.

    Thank you gentlemen,

    Dax

Count your blessings man. You have a lot of them.

A supportive mom and dad. Your not north of 40 yet. Beautiful home. A perfect lay of land and a special talent to create a peaceful all inspiring place for people to come and enjoy something truly unique.

Don't take your eyes off it. Keep dreaming and adding to it. You have a lot of spaces to fill in and that's a good thing.

Cool stuff Dax. I might even place an order for a sign like that myself. Pretty snazzy work for a great price!

Looking forward to seeing many many years of growth. Enjoy what you have, it's more than most of us. :)

Edwin, I'll go till I have no more space! Then I will rest and send scions to friends :)

    Nate, thank you!

    Doug, nice sentiment, thank you!

Much obliged, Will! All those hidden 1"-3" grafts will someday be dominant in the same photo perspective. They're there, they just cannot be seen.

    Cheers,

    Dax

Great photo Dax. Love the sign. You and Dave and of course the sign maker did a wonderful job on it. That's a great shot to have some day for comparison.
