Replacing Nyssa with conifer or something else?

I have a feeling folks will vote conifer but I can't quite figure out what to put here. It would have to be narrow but short to about 6' tall. I understand it won't stop at 6' but call it a growth rate of about 3-4" with that habit.

Otherwise one on these deciduous plants would go where the Nyssa is. Any thoughts?

Viburnum prunifolium Forest Rouge (single stem tree form)
Carpinus betulus Columnaris Nana

Open to other suggestions. The weak growing black beauty coral bells will be replaced with Weigela Spilled Wine. Nyssa is right behind it.
