| Fantastic! Thanks for this post. As I've said many times, I'm a sucker for variegated conifers, so I too am curious about what that other lovely pine in the background is... strobus 'Gold Painted'? By the way, I may need you to send me scions once I get more into grafting. What do ya say? -Sam |

| Ken, very nice specimen, the biggest one I ever saw of this cultivar. Sam, the shortening P.r. 'S.V'. stands for Pinus reflexa 'Southbridge Variegated' which is the original name Joe Stupka gave when he found it as a variegated tree in a parking lot. Sometimes it's shortened into 'Southbridge' which is incorrect... |
