| ....which I got from Darren.
Of course when I planted it in the spring, it was a completely bare stick -- the neighbors must have thought I was totally nuts. PS. The P.p. 'Gotelli Prostrate' in the background are also from Darren... Its going to be a while though, before they become the ground cover they are intended to be... |

| Darren runs Whistling Gardens in southern Ontario (link below). I bought 5 of his P.p. 'Gotelli Prostrate' -- no idea how many he might have left. Will post photo later.... (you can also find a pic by Dax on the ACS web site) The plant does not seem to be widely available. |

| Gasp! I could have sworn that when I stumbled across that website a few months ago it said they didn't mail order... but now it looks like they do. Maybe I'm confused, or maybe my dreams have just come true. Thank you thank you thank you for posting that. Jaro, you are an awesome shopper, thanks for all the sources you've mentioned. KarinL |

| peve minaret is great plant. It is more vigorous than described in many places. I know the coenosium catalog really underestimates it for example. |

| Jaro, Glad to see your plants are doing well. Must have rained on the weekend, you have done a lot of posting. :-) BTW you will have to stake Inversa for a couple more years until the leader is firmly established. Darren |

| "It is more vigorous than described in many places. " Terrain aka the nursery formerly known as Styers, in SE PA, was offering huge Peve Minarets this spring. They had to be at least 7' tall in huge rootballs. IIRC I was surprised they were not more expensive, I think they were "only" around $300. |

| "P.p. 'Gotelli Prostrate' can you post a pic." Finally got around to taking a few photos of the P.p. 'Gotelli Prostrate' I got from Darren a year ago.... Here's three of the five I have -- all in the same bed, intended to eventually completely cover the area... This one has somewhat odd new growth this year.... is that normal ? Also, the two Picea abies 'Inversa' plants I got from Darren look like they might be on their way to developing a leader this year.... |
