| I can't believe I planted this many FREAKING plants since April...its all your fault!
In all seriousness I'm hoping some of you can take a quick gander and my conifers to see if I murdered any of the cultivar names. For the most part I've already check them via google...but there is plenty of bad info on google as we all know. Even the nursery you purchase from doesn't have the correct name. Once I got it, I got it. Abies balsamea 'Tyler's Blue'

lol... Cheers Will, you're stimulating the economy, almost singlehandedly! :) A great list with some plants I'd LOVE to have - but have no space for.

I'll bet your bank account is significantly depleted. Tremendous amount of conifers rolled into the hole for a first year newbie. Man, you really took the plunge. Usually this addiction is gradual and creeps up on you. It's been fun interacting with you in your decision making You have made some good choices. Now sit back and be prepared for some new challenges that always present themselves with so much to care for. I think Will has the lead on you in purchased plants but he has about a 4 year head start. Shouldn't take you long to catch up as he is maxed out for space and you still have plenty left. Dave

is it silberloche.. or locke??? i got it as one name.. changed to the other.. and cant remember if joy told me i was right or to put it back .. missing some single quotes on A. l. compacta a capital here: Juniperus chinensis 'Daub's frosted' here dwarf and nana are redundant.. and you will probably be corrected: Pinus strobus 'Girard Dwarf Contorta Nana' something wrong with this one: Picea bi-color 'Howels Dwarf Tigertail' .. for sure.. the bicolor part .. and i think the dwarf part in quotes i think its real name is Roseomarginata ... not tricolor: Fagus sylvatica 'Tri-Color' this name is a short version of the cross that is completely proper ... but this is how i have it in my database... so close enough for me :Thuja plicata 'Green Giant' no capital G on glauca:Picea Glauca 'Dent' this one should be more like this: Pinus ayacahuite 'Forest Sky' there has to be a better name than this one.. check out the link: Weigela florida 'Dwarf Variegated' i accept no blame.. i am a simply an enabler ... you otherwise carry all the blame... ken

Hi Will, Acer shirwasium 'Autumn Moon' should be Acer shirasawanum 'Autumn Moon'. Not sure if that was just a typo though. Nice selection of plants. How large is your property? Alex

Wow that was enough that I didn't feel like counting them. It is such fun to watch this. Is it a thing with guys named Will? LOL Truly I've enjoyed watching his gardens grow and now yours. Cher

In the initial onslaught of gotta have this one, Oh, this one's cool I have to have it, the name game is not a concern. Only after things settle in does it rear its ugly head. Corrections are inevitable and part of the big picture when collecting. I have spelled them wrong when they are right. Other times when I thought the name was correct it was wrong and put down the wrong spelling. Dave

Cher, these guys have Will(spending)power! Better find yourself one soon! PS. With the world economy going to the dogs, THEY are becoming scarce!Hurry up ! Cheers! T.

Thanks folks, appreciate the help. Corrections have been made! The first year is always the most exciting with a new house. I'll likely slow down quite a bit come next spring. It will be interesting to see how things shape up. I'll be sure to post an update next spring. I'll tell you one thing this past spring and summer has been quite uneventful, outside of planting of course!
