Hello! We live in the suburbs of Philadelphia PA, we had a pretty harsh winter, and about mid summer, we noticed our pine tree in our back yard started turning brown at the top and has continued. This tree has been here for 40-50 years! We hate to see it go, but is it a goner?? We have never seen this before and there is a tree in our neighbors yard that has no problems. You can see it in the photo. We dont notice any bugs or holes at the trunk or lower parts, but is hard to tell what is happening at the top as it is a huge huge tree! I am sorry I dont know much about them other than we love it and its shade. Please let me know if anyone out there has any thoughts on what we can do or what may be causing this! Thank you!!
