We purchased a Chamaecyparis Boulevard Pom Pom tree at our local farmers market about a month ago. We planted it in a plastic half whiskey barrel with holes drilled in it and put in on our shaded front porch on a plant stand with wheels. We have watered it regularly and maybe too much. It is starting to droop and turn sort of gray and looks like it is starting to turn brownish. Can anyone tell us what we need to do to take care of this tree?
