Never saw it or heard about this cultivar. What's twisted, it's needles or branches, may be both? From where did you become it and can you show us a pic of your's? Thanks! |

Thanks for this pic. Julien, is this the same one as I received from you as a bigger specimen? Unfortunately it died because of our very strange Dutch winter... |

| Interesting info and picture. About 25 years ago I received a grafted plant called 'Spiralez' from Mr Wittboldt-Müller of Germany. This plant had twisted needles when received, but lost its habit after 1-2 years. Strange! Now I have grafted 'Twister'. I wonder how it will perform. Now I am looking for Sciadopitys v. 'Fasciation'. I found it here (view below), but no chance to get it from this wholesale source. Any idea where material may be obtained?http://www.buchholznursery.com/plant_page.html?id=26dd9c |

Olav, 'Fasciation' is a synonym of 'Cristata' and 'Cristate Form' that are listed by few producer. I ask since two years to Wiel Linssen for have one small, he has a old plant in the garden. |

'Explosion' I have got (on own roots). Seems hardy here. Interesting info about 'Cristata'. |
