No theories on pendula seeds staying true to form. Posted a picture of strobus seedlings,species' for you to compare. Mine,grown In full sun. look spindly, but being the species, could not be considered having " pendulatic characteristics"(to use a newly coined term).

Pinus strobus 'Angel Falls' is an example of a weeping cultivar which derived from a seedling of P.s. 'Pendula', so it's definitely possible. I don't know what are the odds that the trait for pendulousity (how's that for coining a phrase) would be inherited, but it would be interesting to see what you get. Better still, next spring, try pollinating your 'Pendula' with pollen from 'Louie', 'Gold Painted', or other strobus to create something new and improved!
