What is Needle Blight? Those look like no Weeping Atlas I have ever seen, sorry.

Needle blight is a fungal disease turning the needles brown and the needles eventually fall off. The blue potatoe vine is growing up the poor trees. The weeping blue atlas is serving as a trellis.

Ha ha, looks great! I should have done that to the weeping atlas I lost this year. Mine was trained in the same arching zig zag shape and would have been perfect for some needed clematis in the garden. Never thought to make it into a trellis. Nice idea turning a loss into a positive.

I replaced mine with a Ginkgo biloba 'Ross Moore', a stong weeping form. I just lost my large Metasequoia glyptostroboides 'Ogon'. Maybe I should grow a trumpet vine or some wisteria up it lol.
