Haven't done much conifer mail order personally but bloom river nursery has received some great reviews on a couple of different forums.

I have ordered from both of those nurseries and they both are great with shipping and quality specimens. The best bang for your buck if you don't mind starting with smaller plants is Stanley and Sons. I have placed 2 orders with them over the last few months and they are cheap. You have to be a member of the conifer society and order a minimum of 15 plants but it is worth it! Prices range mostly from 6-10 dollars per tree with a few rare ones getting up to 15-25. With shipping on two orders I spent under 300 for 30. They even upgraded a few plants to gallon size pots :)
