This was something I was very excited about when I first started collecting conifers and I guess I would have to say I am still just excited: Watching tiny plants grow year after year into steadily more and more beautiful specimens.
This was amongst the first 20 or so conifers I bought from Bob Fincham of Coenosium Gardens in 2008. It's a super slow growing plant, perhaps one of the slowest noble firs, growing about a half inch(1.5-2 cm) a year. This specimen is now probably ten years old.
