Definitely a larch.

Likely just a 'Pendula', and the new foliage does have a different, more widely-spaced foliage.

It could also be a Larix decidua 'Puli'. Google that.

In larches, the needles are single on the ends of the shoots, and in clusters on the inner (older) sections of the shoots.

Same applies to cedars, but they differ in being evergreen, not deciduous.

Resin

Most likely not L. decidua - looks quite like the common weeping Japanese larch cultivar usually sold and planted as weeping European larch. Such specimens rather often produce characteristic Japanese larch cones at some point - in addition to pinkish twigs and bluish leaves.

Should such occurrences be a source of astonishment I was once told that an article in a trade periodical estimated the amount of misidentified nursery stock in circulation to be about 1/3 of the total. Not having ever seen this piece myself I didn't see exactly what they were talking about - if it included misspellings of otherwise correct names etc. But the key point remains the same - plants being traded as something other than what they actually are is not rare.

Looks like a Larix kaempferi 'Pendula' to me.
The bluish cast over the needles is a characteristic for this species.

Larix decidua 'Puli' isn't possible for this one because it has the same growing habit as the Larix kaempferi 'Stiff Weeper', which is a straight weeping form...
