Is this a larch?

I've been in the Name That Plant forum, and we seem to have pinned this down to a weeping Larix decidua. But when I google-imaged it, 99% of the larches had needles emerging in bunches, whereas mine emerge from the branches singly. There was a link to a similar tree that didn't have a name associated with the pic--the poster said it was weeping larch. And I did find a picture of Larix decidua 'Lobbey Dosser' that seemed to have similar needles to mine.

So my real question is, can larches have SUCH different needle positions, or are these cases of mis-labelling. And what is my "It"?
