Fat Albert Blue Spruce or other evergreen?

I am looking to plant an evergreen in my front yard (zone 7a), which gets full to partial sun. I love the look of something blue-green and wide like a fat albert blue spruce, but am concerned it may not do well with DC's hot and humid summers. Does anyone have any experience or suggestions for something else?

I also would like something bluish(if possible) wide or offering some privacy screening and that will cap out at 15-25 ft.

Also, something hearty and disease/pest resistant would be great.

Also considering other blue spruces, some kind of eastern red cedar or cypress but not sure which kinds might work. Anyone have experience with Arizona cypress? Wondering how they do...

Thanks for any advice!

There's a seven acre conifer garden at the National Arboretum but it's probably closed right now. When you can get in there again there is bound to be something you like on display there.

Apparently blue Colorado spruce grows in New York.
